5.2 Artistic Creativity

      I will continue to develop my capability as an abstract/symbolic artist. A careful record will be maintained of the date of each art piece so that the evolution of my artistic skills can be easily traced and correlated with my overall Magical record.

      Abstract/symbolic art will serve as the primary mechanism for constructing talismans. Careful documentation will be maintained concerning the purpose and plan of attack for the development of each talisman. Correspondences from Crowley's "777" and other symbolical and mythological data sources will be used to establish logical formats within which the talismans will be constructed. For example, to continue the example of the archetype of the Mother Goddess presented in the previous section, assume that a talisman is to be developed in order to contact the Egyptian Goddess Isis in her role as the most spiritual aspect of the Mother Goddess. This would require the utilization of blue, white, and silver colors, and distinct linear forms transforming into spiral forms with the concept of great expanse and aeonic time periods well represented.
