The Corridors of Time (Intro)
Block 11: The Corridors of Time (Introduction)
Block 12 is the document titled "The Corridors of Time (Itself)". It evolved over a period of time from 1986 to 1994. Before I give a breakdown of the structure of the document, I will tell how it evolved. The major portion of the document is a research proposal that I wrote in 1986. At the time I was working as a physicist in the aerospace business, and I wanted to spend all of my time on the occult sciences. The proposal is a request for funds to support myself for 3 1/2 years so that I could focus on investigating the occult sciences and documenting my investigations. I never got any funding. I next put together an art portfolio because the proposal told the story of how the art had evolved.
The next thing I did was in 1994 when I wrote another proposal. In this second proposal I was looking for someone to fund me to attempt to use my experience with parapsychological phenomena to create immense wealth by predicting trends in the stock market, winning lottery numbers, and horse race winners. I attached the first proposal to the second one as background information. I also included in the second proposal the letter of introduction to my art portfolio and a typical letter of introduction for the first proposal. I never showed the second proposal to any prospective financiers, because I could not identify any.
Block 12: The Corridors of Time (Itself) is divided into four sections:
- Section I is "A Solicitation for Funds to Demonstrate the Potential of Utilizing Parapsychological Mechanisms for the Direct Accrual of Wealth"
- It is 15 pages long as presented here on the website, but originally it was comprised (as indicated above) of:
- These 15 pages which were referred to as Part I - "Letter of Introduction".
- Part II - "My Art Portfolio" which included:
- Letter of introduction to the art portfolio.
- Typical letter of introduction for the occult research proposal.
- The occult research proposal itself.
- It gives some autobiographical information on me, and demonstrates a good deal about my temperament and personality.
- Section II contains the letter of introduction to my portfolio.
- Section III is a typical letter of introduction that would accompany the proposal for funds to study the occult sciences for 3 1/2 years.
- Section IV is the occult sciences research proposal itself, which is titled "A Research Proposal for an Experiential Investigation of the Mythological Archetypes of the Collective Unconscious of Western Man."
- There are five (5) appendices that are part of the occult sciences research proposal:
- Appendix A: Letter of Reference
- Appendix B: Course Curricula in the Occult Sciences Offered to Antioch College
- Appendix C: Advertisement for The House of Thoth
- In 1977 I started an organization in Yellow Springs, Ohio called The House of Thoth. The original name of that organization was the School of Occult Sciences for Scientists.
- The appendix is an advertisement for The House of Thoth.
- The main essence of the advertisement is a poem that I wrote in 1977 entitled "The Corridors of Time".
- This is the same poem that compromises Appendix D.
- Appendix D: Poetic Skills
- This is the same poem that is in the advertisement of Appendix C.
- Appendix E: Magickal Record
- This appendix presents extracts from my Magickal Record covering the period from October 1975 to April 1979.
- The original manuscript of my Magickal Record from this period was inadvertently destroyed.
